Sun Symphony - A 2D-Animated Short Film

Sun Symphony is a 2D-animated and rotoscope-inspired short film set in a near future where sunlight is a rare commodity, and companies construct facilities for people to pay and experience the last traces of natural sunlight before its extinction. We follow a man as he nervously waits his turn to experience what may be his last encounter with the sun and the memories they bring. The aim is to evoke a universal experience viewers can empathise with—a simple moment of feeling the summer sun's warmth amidst impending grim reality, capturing the essence of the calm before the storm.

My animation was selected to be showcased at the RMIT University’s 2024 MAGI Expo ‘Banquet of Oddities’, part of RMIT Design 2024 Grad Shows.
